Dr. Jeffrey Goldstein is a medical pioneer who is one of the most highly recognized physicians in New York and the United States East Coast.
Dr. Goldstein is an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with advanced training in surgery of the spine. He is a Director of the NYU Langone Orthopedics Spine Service and Director of the NYU Langone Orthopedics Spine Fellowship. Dr. Goldstein is an attending surgeon at NYU Langone Orthopedics and NYU Langone Medical Center. He is a Clinical Professor of both Orthopedic Surgery and Neurosurgery at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine.
He has also served as President of The International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery (ISASS). He has served on the editorial and advisory boards of The Spine Journal, the International Journal of Spine Surgery, the Global Spine Journal, Spine Surgery Today, and the Bulletin of the Hospital for Joint Diseases, in addition to the reviewer board for Spine.
Dr. Goldstein's surgical expertise is related to the spine and includes degenerative diseases, deformity, trauma, tumors, and infections as well as newer minimally invasive approaches, robotic surgery and artificial disc replacement.
